On May 14, the North Jersey Record published a piece by Hannan Adely regarding a hearing before the Joint Committee on Public Schools on graduation testing policies. The piece mentions JerseyCAN and quotes Executive Director Patricia Morgan:

 

“Supporters include Patricia Morgan, executive director of the education nonprofit JerseyCAN, who pointed out that student performance on the exams has been improving over the past four years.

‘We see the test as an objective measure as to how our students are actually preforming,” she said. “It tells us important information on how school districts and the overall state system is doing in educating our students.'”
